Tokyo Disney Resort, also known as Oriental Land, is a privately owned entity headquartered in Japan. Founded in 1960, it employs approximately 80 individuals. Functioning as an entertainment provider, the resort is owned by the Oriental Land Company and operates a major entertainment complex located in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan. This complex consists of two theme parks, Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, alongside several hotels and a shopping complex. Tokyo Disneyland, which originally opened in 1983, was notably the first Disney theme park established outside the United States.
