On February 3, 2025, Electronic Arts announced an agreement to acquire Tracab Technologies, a sports optical tracking and analysis solutions firm. The acquisition will aid EA Sports in improving lifelike animation and game simulations using AI, machine learning, and real-time data. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. This acquisition follows EA Sports' ongoing investment in tools, technology, and capabilities to enhance the authenticity and immersion of its games.
