Earlier on the same day, the group threatened to release these records, which allegedly include personally identifiable information and corporate data, though the claims remained officially unconfirmed by Udemy. This follows ShinyHunters' initial announcement on April 23, 2026, alleging the data breach. Separately, on April 23, Coursera Inc. reported its first-quarter 2026 earnings and indicated its preparation for a strategic merger with Udemy.
