Registration for the 2026-27 USATF Club Cross Country & National Championships is currently open, closing on December 10. This followed Team USA's return from the World Road Running Championships in Copenhagen on September 20, where it secured three team medals, one individual medal, and an American record. Earlier, on September 16, USATF announced the inaugural USA Track & Field Indoor Tour, set to begin in January in New York City and conclude with the USATF Indoor Track & Field Championships from February 19-21 in Indianapolis, building on the success of the summer's first USA Track & Field Tour. Previously, on September 13, Melissa Jefferson-Wooden and Kenny Bednarek completed sprint doubles as Team USATF secured four victories on the final day of the inaugural World Ultimate Championship in Budapest, with Americans winning 10 of the 28 events.
