On January 23, 2025, Lumine Group Inc. announced an agreement to acquire assets related to the Vidispine brand and business from Arvato Systems, a subsidiary of Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA. On April 1, 2025, Lumine Group completed the purchase of Vidispine. Prior to the acquisition, on September 23, 2024, Qvest and Arvato Systems’ Vidispine team partnered to enhance newsroom collaboration, with Qvest's clipbox studio server becoming the first to fully support Vidispine's new renderless workflow. Vidispine planned to showcase its latest innovations and product highlights at the NAB Show in Las Vegas.
