Previously, on July 27, Vultr confirmed it would offer AMD's Instinct MI455X graphics processors and support AMD's Helios rack-scale system, positioning itself among the first cloud providers to make the new hardware available and expanding its artificial intelligence infrastructure. Earlier, on July 26, Vultr stated it would begin offering AMD's upcoming Instinct MI455X accelerators and Helios rackscale architecture later in the year, joining efforts to provide alternatives to Nvidia-dominated AI infrastructure for enterprise buyers seeking larger memory footprints, denser compute deployments, and predictable economics for production-scale AI workloads. The company initially announced on July 24 that it had begun offering AMD's Instinct MI455X GPU and support for the AMD Helios rackscale system, adding another option for customers seeking large-memory infrastructure for AI and high-performance computing workloads.
