Whisper Group returned to private ownership on March 5, 2026, as Sony Pictures Television divested its 30% stake after a five-year partnership that saw Whisper's profit and revenue grow almost 500%. Previously, on November 19, 2025, co-founders Jake Humphrey, David Coulthard, and chief executive Sunil Patel shared a £2.6 million dividend following record profits for the company.
Whisper's customers primarily consist of computer Games, spectator Sports and wellness and Fitness Services companies.
