Previously, on September 7, 2026, RTBF shifted its advertising workflow to this server-guided ad insertion system from Bitmovin and Ad Insertion Platform, designed to improve monetization across live and time-shifted streaming by replacing the broadcaster’s legacy workflows with the new standards-based SGAI system. The partnership between Bitmovin and Ad Insertion Platform initially delivered this first live deployment of AIP’s AdBlendr SGAI solution with Bitmovin’s Player on September 3, 2026.
