AMC Networks International, a privately owned company founded in 1998 and headquartered in the United Kingdom, is a subsidiary of AMC Networks. It operates as the international arm of its parent company, managing its television channels and related businesses outside of the United States. One known subsidiary is AMC Networks International Southern Europe.
AMC Networks extended a streaming content licensing agreement with Netflix. The initial agreement, reached in July 2024, covered one year and has now been extended. This renewed deal includes licensing seasons of new and upcoming AMC-owned series, such as “Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order,” and library titles including “Orphan Black,” for Netflix's US platform. Separately, AMC Networks announced a fall programming event for Acorn TV, showcasing the return of Agatha Christie adaptations alongside new murder mysteries and crime dramas. This lineup includes premieres of new series and films throughout the season.
