On September 12th, 2024, Unitecnic, part of Grup Mediapro, and Nevion, a Sony Group subsidiary, announced a collaboration to create a permanent IP technology lab for broadcast applications in Madrid. This lab was inaugurated on March 19th, 2025, and is located at Unitecnic's Madrid headquarters. The lab, built around the Sony Networked Live ecosystem, will be used to analyze hybrid systems integration in audiovisual production, conduct technical training, and explore innovative use cases for on-site, remote, and cloud-based IP broadcast productions.
