Publisher Bandai Namco and developer FromSoftware had stated the delay was for “performance adjustments” for the Nintendo Switch 2 release. This reappearance followed reports earlier on March 12 that the *Elden Ring Tarnished Edition* for Nintendo Switch 2 showcased major performance improvements, addressing heavy criticism of its initial weak performance and visuals. Bandai Namco had previously delayed the open-world RPG's release last October to allow developers more time for technical enhancements.
