Nexon announced a Closed Alpha for its new PvPvE title, *Nakwon: Last Paradise*, on March 5, 2026, expanding its game portfolio which already includes the looter shooter *The First Descendant*, soulslike *The First Berserker: Khazan*, and horror RPG *Woochi*. Previously, on March 2, the company opened registrations for *MapleStory Classic World*'s Closed Online Test, which is scheduled to run from March 10 until early April and requires an existing Nexon account. Earlier that day, Nexon began a large-scale spring festival, "Maplestory in Lotteworld," in collaboration with Lotte World. This three-month event, running from March 14 to June 14 at Lotte World Adventure in Jamsil, precedes the official opening of "Maple Island" in April. This follows the publisher's announcement on February 27 that it would host a "DM (Director's Message)" event on March 8 to celebrate the fourth anniversary of its mobile action game, *Dungeon & Fighter Mobile*. Also on February 27, Nexon's FPS *Sudden Attack* donated 100% of the proceeds from its 20th-anniversary pop-up store to Habitat for Humanity Korea, with funds earmarked to improve housing conditions for descendants of Korean independence patriots.
