BBC Worldwide

BBC Worldwide Ltd. was a privately owned commercial subsidiary of the BBC, established in 1995. Its primary function was to generate revenue for the BBC by internationally distributing BBC programming and licensing BBC brands. Employing approximately 20 people at its peak, the UK-based company's annual revenue was less than $10 million in 2023. BBC Worldwide ceased to exist in 2018, merging with BBC Studios to create a consolidated entity responsible for licensing, production, and distribution.
