Founded in 2003 and a subsidiary of Cogeco Communications, it is the eighth largest cable operator in the United States by television subscriber count. Employing approximately 530 people, Breezeline's headquarters are located in the US. The company offers television, internet, and telephone services utilizing a network combining coaxial cable and fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) technology.
Comcast's broadband expansion in St. Mary's County, Maryland continues, with new connections in Leonardtown and surrounding areas. In the US, Breezeline experienced a 4.5% revenue decline in constant currency due to subscriber base reduction, particularly for entry-level services. This decline is part of a broader trend, as Cogeco Communications Inc., Breezeline's parent company, also saw a consolidated revenue decrease of 2.7%.
