Club América

Club de Fútbol América S.A. de C.V., also known as Club América, is a privately owned entity headquartered in Mexico. Founded in 1916, the club employs approximately 420 individuals, focusing on sports tickets, merchandise, and sponsorship. This professional football club, based in Mexico City, is nicknamed Las Águilas (The Eagles) and competes in Liga MX, the top tier of Mexican football. Since 1959, it has been owned by the mass media company Televisa. The team plays its home games at Estadio Azteca, which is described as the largest stadium in Latin America and one of the largest in the world.
