On September 15, 2026, the BBC announced Colin Morgan, Madeleine Mantock, and Christian Cooke would lead the new ensemble cast for the second series of the real-time thriller "Nightsleeper." Element Pictures, a Fremantle company, produces the series for BBC iPlayer and BBC One, which is currently filming in Belfast and is written by Nick Leather. This follows an August 27, 2026 announcement that Disney+ greenlit "Mad Love" (working title), a new romantic comedy-drama co-produced by Element Pictures and Sinestra. Created and written by Kate Cortesi, the series was commissioned by Angela Jain, Head of Content Disney+ EMEA, and Lee Mason, VP Scripted Disney+ EMEA. Element Pictures' Ed Guiney and Andrew Lowe are among the executive producers for "Mad Love."
