Universal Music Group (UMG) and ElevenLabs signed a multi-year licensing agreement on September 11, 2026, to develop an AI-powered music platform for fans and create AI audio products for artists and songwriters. This strategic collaboration, announced on September 10, establishes a partnership across licensing and product development, featuring a new platform from ElevenLabs that will enable fans to create remixes, mashups, and new interpretations of tracks from participating artists. Earlier on September 10, ElevenLabs released its Dubbing v2 model, which enhances AI voice translation quality by conditioning its output directly on original audio performance instead of working from text transcripts.
ElevenLabs's customers primarily consist of computer Games and ad measurement and verification companies. Examples of ElevenLabs's customers include Paradox Interactive, MNTN and Magicave. ElevenLabs has commercial and technical partners like Super Hi-Fi, Pika Labs and Audacy.
