Initially a joint venture between the Basque Government and several Basque saving banks, the company provides pay TV services, along with fibre broadband and phone services. Its operations are concentrated in the Basque Country, Galicia, and Asturias. As of 2020, Euskaltel employed approximately 1080 people, generated less than $1 billion in revenue, and is headquartered in Spain. The company's growth has included acquisitions of other operators, namely R and Telecable.
