Eutelsat announced a smart television set with Vestel that uses hybrid technology to receive video signals from satellite and broadband simultaneously. This Sat.tv Connect technology targets homes in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. Separately, Eutelsat offered to provide an alternative to Starlink in Ukraine. On an unrelated matter, the French media regulator ARCOM ordered Eutelsat to stop broadcasting after an investigation prompted by non-governmental organizations. Eutelsat Communications SA stated on March 21 that it took the necessary actions to comply with ARCOM's formal notice.
