The Korea Handball Federation (KHF), a non-profit organization founded in 1945 and based in South Korea, serves as the national governing body for handball and beach handball. Since 1960, the KHF has maintained affiliations with the Asian Handball Federation (AHF), the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee, and the International Handball Federation (IHF).
The Korea Handball Federation announced a two-year title sponsorship deal with Shinhan Bank for the Handball H League, starting with the 2025-2026 season, which begins November 15th. On October 17th, the sponsorship was officially announced. Separately, the Federation opened applications for the second batch of its "H-CRE8TOR" program, a college student creator initiative to expand Handball H League content and recognition. Applications were accepted from October 11th to 26th, and included college students, students on leave, and recent graduates. Finally, the Federation held a briefing session for unemployed team players to discuss the H League's development and player rights, fostering communication between the federation and players.
