This initiative, operating in Light Data mode, is designed to enable text messaging and real-time multimedia exchange directly via satellite. Previously, on April 23, 2026, Kaan Terzioğlu, Chief Executive Officer of VEON, Kyivstar's parent company, identified a "Kyivstar Listing" as a defining factor for VEON in 2025. Terzioğlu noted that 2025 marked a significant threshold for VEON, as its digital services for the first time attracted more users than its traditional connectivity offerings, signaling the company's evolution into a digital operator.
