The League of Ireland (LOI), a privately owned organization founded in 2015, is one of two primary governing bodies for association football in the Republic of Ireland. It operates a five-division league system, currently sponsored by Airtricity (also known as the SSE Airtricity League), encompassing professional football clubs from the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
