In the second quarter of 2025, group advertising revenue decreased by €10.2 million (4.3%) compared to the same period in 2024, totaling €228.2 million. This year-on-year decline in linear TV ad revenue was partly attributed to the Euros' impact on the previous year's figures. Despite a challenging macroeconomic environment, M6 delivered better-than-expected second-quarter results, showing a less significant revenue decline than anticipated. The company also notes that subscribers see 80% less display advertising, with the remaining ads primarily from local businesses.
