The LMB has 18 teams divided into two divisions, the North and the South. The league's regular season runs from April to August, with the playoffs and championship series held in September and October. The LMB is considered one of the top professional baseball leagues in Latin America and has produced many players who have gone on to play in Major League Baseball (MLB). The league has a total of 50 employees and is headquartered in Mexico.
