Finnish operator Elisa said it is making the Disney+ application available on its Elisa Viihde Plus entertainment platform with a three-month free trial to the Standard subscription. Sami Aalto, head of Elisa's entertainment business, said Disney+ is a long-awaited addition to its range of streaming services. New subscribers to Elisa Viihde Plus from 03 December will find the Disney+ app already installed in the line-up.

France's media watchdog Arcom said that Disney+, Netflix and Prime Video have met their investment obligations during 2023, in terms of the contribution to the country's content production fund. The investment is made by the three VoD platforms to comply with the so-called 'Smad' decree introduced by the French government in 2021, under which they must commit a share of their revenues to national and European content productions, the same as linear broadcasters.
