A former Naughty Dog developer revealed on April 21, 2026, that early versions of *Uncharted 4*, which was released ten years ago and has sold nearly 20 million copies, faced potential cancellation due to negative internal reception. Previously, on April 20, Naughty Dog co-founder Jason Rubin was announced as a headliner for The Game Business Live event in June, a part of Summer Game Fest. This follows comments made on April 19 by Neil Druckmann, co-creator of *The Last of Us*, who stated he has not completely closed the door on a possible third game in the series but requires a vision that satisfies him before moving forward with development.
