News Summary:

NESN extended contracts on September 10, 2026, with three key members of its Boston Bruins broadcast team: color analyst Andy Brickley, studio host Sophia Jurksztowicz, and rinkside reporter Adam Pellerin. Previously, on August 13, the network broadened the distribution of two Boston Red Sox games to extend the reach of the 24th annual WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon and support Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, partnering with WSBK Boston to carry the Red Sox games against the Arizona Diamondbacks. This expansion followed the August 11 announcement by Audacy’s WEEI-FM, NESN, and the Boston Red Sox that the Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon, presented by Arbella Insurance, would take place at Fenway Park on August 17 and 18, 2026. Earlier, on July 30, NESN prepared for its third annual Women’s Celebration Night on August 5, featuring an all-female-led Red Sox broadcast with more than 25 women in on-air and production roles, including Emma Tiedemann on play-by-play and Alanna Rizzo as color analyst for the Red Sox-White Sox telecast. In June, NESN captured five awards at the 2026 Boston/New England Emmy Awards, receiving four program honors and one individual award.
