NSSLGlobal, a privately owned company founded in 1969 and headquartered in the UK, provides connectivity and distribution services. Employing approximately 170 people, the company reported revenues of around $25 million in 2023. Its services focus on satellite communications and IT solutions for maritime, offshore, and land-based clients.
NSSLGlobal supplied satellite communications equipment and airtime to the Ocean Youth Trust North's yacht, the stv James Cook, for its participation in the Tall Ships Races across the North Sea. This equipment, an Iridium LT-3100S GMDSS system, ensured compliance with SOLAS regulations. NSSLGlobal's sponsorship and provision of this system occurred in multiple instances. Separately, NSSLGlobal will deliver Eutelsat OneWeb LEO services to support UK government operations globally, providing resilient high-speed, low-latency connectivity for diplomatic, defence, policing, and disaster response efforts.
