On February 18, Opera issued a guide on tab management for Opera on Android, designed to help users organize accumulating tabs from various browsing activities. Earlier the same day, Opera rolled out stable update 127.0.5778.76, which focused on enhancing stability and resolving crash scenarios, including a specific fix for crashes when adjusting Sync settings. This followed a February 17 report that identified Opera as one of five alternative Android browsers recognized for superior privacy features or day-to-day ergonomics compared to Chrome. Also on February 17, a new developer update for Opera, version 129, was released, featuring multiple fixes and improvements for the Split Screen functionality, addressing issues with restoring Split Screen from different sources, displaying pages in "Search in tabs," and maintaining recently closed Split Screens across sessions.
