Post Luxembourg began work on August 18, 2026, for an expansion of its national sorting centre in Bettembourg, representing an investment of over €80 million. Previously, on July 9, the company permanently retired its analog fixed-line network, finalizing the decommissioning of its legacy copper network as part of its transition to an entirely Internet-based (100 percent All-IP) network. This followed its July 7 announcement that it completed the all-IP transition by permanently decommissioning EWSD (elektronisches wahlsystem digital) services, which had been in operation for nearly 40 years.
