Employing approximately 240 people, PBR's primary business is the staging and promotion of spectator bull riding events. It is a subsidiary of Endeavor, a larger global sports and entertainment company.
Professional Bull Riders (PBR) held an event at Canvas Stadium in Colorado State University on July 21-22, featuring bull riding competitions and live music performances by Cross Canadian Ragweed and Jon Pardi. This marked the first large-scale concerts at Canvas Stadium. Separately, PBR is involved in a legal dispute with Dr. Phil McGraw's bankrupt company, Merit Street Media. PBR alleges that Dr. Phil engaged in a "bad faith" Chapter 11 filing and filed an emergency motion to compel document production. Dr. Phil, in turn, claims that PBR and another creditor are attempting to smear his company and undervalue it. Finally, TKO, following its acquisition of PBR On Location and IMG, raised its full-year revenue and earnings guidance.
