Quantum Films

Quantum Films, headquartered in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines, was founded in 2004 by Atty. Joji Alonso. The company functions as an independent film studio, production company, and theatrical distributor, specializing in content rights. It focuses on bridging mainstream commercial accessibility and independent arthouse storytelling and participates in domestic film festivals such as the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) and the Cinemalayà Philippine Independent Film Festival. To expand its operational reach and finance larger-scale cinematic projects, the studio formed a strategic alliance with Tuko Film Productions and Buchi Boy Entertainment, leading to the creation of the TBA Studios umbrella network. Quantum Films manages an extensive intellectual property repository of feature films and television series, including the Ang Babae sa Septic Tank franchise, English Only, Please, Ekstra, Walang Forever, All of You, The Girl in the Orange Dress, and the television drama series What We Could Be, produced in partnership with GMA Network.
