Radiotelevizija Slovenija, also known as RTV Slovenija, RTV SLO, or RTV, is a state-owned public broadcaster headquartered in Slovenia. Founded in 1928, the organization operates with approximately 1,110 employees and reported $153.4M in revenue as of 2024, functioning as a tier 1 media tech buyer. RTV Slovenija's license fee may increase by 10 percent, raising the monthly fee from EUR 12.75 to EUR 14.02 per household. This would be the first increase in 12 years and the fee accounts for more than two-thirds of RTV Slovenija's revenue. The Culture Ministry proposed this increase. In 2023, RTV Slovenija reported revenue of EUR 139.7 million and expenditure of EUR 146.7 million. Separately, Slovenia’s Agency for Communication Networks and Services announced the shutdown of DVB-T multiplex C, operated by RTV Slovenija, on February 1st, 2024. The multiplex, launched in 2013, distributed commercial TV channels.
