Radius Telecoms, a privately owned company headquartered in the Philippines, was founded in 2000 and employs approximately 310 individuals. The company, which is a 100% Meralco company, specializes in telecoms services, delivering them on an end-to-end full fiber optic network.
PLDT Inc. completed its P2.94-billion acquisition of Radius Telecoms on May 14, 2026, securing full ownership of the fiber infrastructure provider. This transaction involved PLDT purchasing the remaining 65.1 percent stake in Radius from Paragon Vertical Corp., a subsidiary of e-Meralco Ventures Inc. under Manila Electric Co. (Meralco). Previously, on May 7, 2026, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) tapped Radius Telecoms to ensure stable and high-capacity connectivity for the two-day 48th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Leaders’ Summit in Cebu. Earlier in March 2026, Radius Telecoms, then a subsidiary of Meralco, secured Gold Verified Peering Provider (VPP) status from Google. This certification, confirmed by March 21, 2026, represents the highest tier in Google’s global networking standards, acknowledging Radius as a top-tier digital infrastructure provider in the Philippines for network reliability, performance, and physically diverse connectivity across multiple metropolitan areas.
