It is owned and operated by Albavision, an international media conglomerate controlled by Mexican-American entrepreneur Remigio Ángel González. Founded in 1985, the company has approximately 140 employees and specializes in broadcast television and radio. Originally established as América Televisión, it was re-established under its current name in 1996. The network maintains key regional production assets and news bureaus in Santa Cruz and Cochabamba, operating alongside Unitel and Red Uno as one of the country's most widespread broadcasting lines. Its content strategy focuses on popular infotainment, extensive morning news blocks, local sports, and high-volume acquisitions of international telenovelas syndicated via Albavisión’s global distribution network.
