RTL-TVI, also known as RTL Belgium, is a privately owned company headquartered in Belgium. It is a subsidiary of DPG Media. Founded in 1985, the company employs approximately 660 individuals. Functioning as the RTL division for the French-speaking part of Belgium, it specializes in broadcast media production and distribution, encompassing both broadcasting and content creation activities.
On April 1, 2026, Belgian commercial broadcaster Radio Contact, part of the RTL Belgium group, launched "100% K-pop," a new thematic web radio channel dedicated to K-pop from South Korea, which began broadcasting on March 28. This development occurred as Belgium's two-step system for pirate site-blocking enforcement, launched in 2025, continued to generate diverse site-blocking orders, making the country an active testing ground in Europe for such measures, as observed on February 23. Earlier, on January 14, RTL Belgium faced a drastic reduction in personnel over two years, a situation employees noted created "big pressure on the teams" due to increased external outsourcing of programs. Communication director Philippe Jaumain linked these staff reductions to market evolution, specifically citing competition from platforms and illegal IPTV.
