RTL-TVI, also known as RTL Belgium, is a privately owned company headquartered in Belgium. It is a subsidiary of DPG Media. Founded in 1985, the company employs approximately 660 individuals. Functioning as the RTL division for the French-speaking part of Belgium, it specializes in broadcast media production and distribution, encompassing both broadcasting and content creation activities.
RTL Belgium appointed François Fyon as media audio director on July 21, 2026, effective October 1, to lead its audio operations, including Bel RTL and Radio Contact. He will succeed Frédéric Herbays. Previously, on May 21, CEO Guillaume Collard stated in an interview with L'Echo that the broadcaster is exploring a paid subscription strategy for its streaming service to diversify revenues, citing pressure on the traditional advertising-supported model. Earlier, on April 1, Radio Contact, a part of the RTL Belgium group, launched "100% K-pop," a new thematic web radio channel dedicated to K-pop from South Korea. This follows reports on January 14 indicating a drastic decrease in RTL Belgium's personnel over two years, with communication director Philippe Jaumain attributing the staff reductions to market evolution and competition from platforms and illegal IPTV.
