Additionally, Showcase Cinemas is the controlling shareholder of Paramount Global.
National Amusements sold the shuttered Showcase Cinema de Lux Randolph property for $9 million on March 18 to Boston-based real estate developer Core Investments, with the fate of the former theater undisclosed. Previously, on January 23, Showcase Cinemas introduced its new Family Favourites scheme, offering £2.49 tickets for a selection of family-friendly films as a weekend deal to attract young audiences.
