Skaarhoj, a privately owned company headquartered in Denmark, was founded in 2013 and employs approximately 40 people. The company operates in broadcast media production and distribution, functioning as a reseller providing customized controllers for the broadcasting industry.
On January 16, 2026, SKAARHOJ announced an application of its PTZ Pro controller, seamlessly integrating DJI RS series stabilizers, including the RS 3 Pro and RS 4 gimbals, with Middle Things to enable professional PTZ functionality. This allows users to transform these gimbals into PTZ cameras, offering joystick pan, tilt, lens zoom, and full preset recall, mimicking a classic PTZ workflow. Previously, on September 18, 2025, ARRI introduced its LPM-1 live production monitor, a 10-inch onboard display and control interface. This monitor complements ARRI's ALEXA 35 Live camera and LPS-1 live production system, and integrates with Skaarhoj's RCP. The LPM-1 connects to the camera via an ARRI CoaXPress viewfinder cable, with an optional RS cable providing additional power for maximum brightness.
