South Australian National Football League, also known as SANFL, is a privately owned entity headquartered in Australia. Founded in 1877, the organization employs approximately 190 individuals. Its main product involves contact sports. The company serves as South Australia's governing body for Australian rules football. Originally formed as the South Australian Football Association on 30 April 1877, it is the oldest surviving football league of any code in Australia and the 7th oldest club football league in the world.
