Sudamérica Rugby, a privately owned organization headquartered in Argentina, is the governing body for rugby union in South America and parts of Central America. Founded in 1989 (though its predecessor, Confederación Sudamericana de Rugby, existed from 1988), the organization employs approximately 20 people as of 2023. Its primary activity is the oversight and administration of rugby union spectator sports within its jurisdiction.
