T-Mobile Czech Republic, a.s., a privately owned company founded in 1996 and headquartered in the Czech Republic, is a wireless network operator. It is a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom. In the first quarter, T-Mobile Czech Republic reported CZK 7.727 billion in revenue, a 2.3 percent year-on-year increase. EBITDA (AL) reached CZK 3.438 billion, a 4.8 percent rise. The subscriber base grew by 0.5 percent to 6.524 million, comprising 4.05 million postpaid subscribers, 768,000 M2M connections, and 1.7 million prepaid customers (a 6.1 percent decrease). Magenta TV subscribers increased by 12.8 percent to 304,000. Amdocs completed a billing and charging system upgrade for T-Mobile Czech Republic, a project executed without service disruption. This upgrade provides a foundation for current and future billing and charging operations. T-Mobile Czech Republic also deployed a fibre-optic network in Tanvald, covering nearly 1800 households and businesses using XGS-PON technology. Finally, Karolina Helebrantova was appointed head of the legal department, which now falls under the newly named People Law & Integrity division, encompassing both T-Mobile Czech Republic and Slovak Telekom.
