The Swedish telecommunications operator reported adjusted EBITDA of 8.38 billion Swedish crowns, surpassing analyst expectations of 8.34 billion, driven by the 2.8% rise in service revenue and ongoing cost reductions. Total revenue for the quarter reached SEK 20.7 billion, supported by expanding broadband and mobile subscriber bases in key markets, improving ARPU, disciplined operating expenses, and strategic AI initiatives. Earlier, on July 12, Telia collaborated with Bris to update the Mobile Driving License, adding a new section on artificial intelligence to educate children on AI's functionality, risks, and opportunities.
