Telia Finland, a privately owned subsidiary of Telia Company, is a telecommunications provider based in Finland. Founded in 1927, the company offers fixed-line, mobile, broadband, and pay TV services. Previously known as Sonera and Tele Finland, the company rebranded to Telia Finland in March 2017. Its most recent reported revenue, from 2020, was approximately $100 million.
On August 25, Telia Finland appointed Terhi Horppu as its new chief financial officer, succeeding Marko Yla-Autio, who departed at the end of August. Telia Finland and Rejlers Finland signed a multi-year agreement where Rejlers will manage projects constructing Telia Finland's fixed telecommunications network. A separate, multi-year agreement between Telia Finland and Rejlers AB transferred responsibility for constructing and managing Telia Finland’s fixed telecom network to Rejlers. This partnership positions Rejlers as a key player in Nordic telecom infrastructure, aligning with Finland's 5G and fiber expansion plans. Telia Company reported second-quarter revenue of SEK 3.64 billion in Finland, a 6.67 percent decrease year-over-year on a reported basis, but a 1.0 percent increase on a like-for-like basis. Telia Finland also implemented a new system to combat callback scams, charging scammers for attempted calls and warning subscribers. This new system blocked over 3 million scam attempts since the beginning of 2025.
