Proximus boosts fibre speeds with symmetrical connections

Belgian telecoms operator Proximus is increasing download and upload speeds across its residential and business fibre broadband packages, introducing symmetrical connections of up to 2.5 Gbps from 1 November. The upgrade will see residential customers on Internet Go Fiber receive speeds of up to 250 Mbps in both directions, compared with the current 150 Mbps download and 30 Mbps upload.

Belgian service provider Proximus is increasing the internet speeds of several fibre plans from the beginning of November, with download and upload speeds becoming symmetrical across the affected packages. Internet Go Fiber will increase from 150Mbps downstream/30Mbps upstream to 250/250Mbps, while Internet Mega Fiber will rise from 500/100Mbps to 600/600Mbps.
