This contract is part of a framework agreement Waystream signed with the Telia group in late 2022 for equipment procurement across its various markets. Earlier, on November 27, 2025, Telia committed half a billion kronor to expand and strengthen its mobile network in Sweden's rural areas. This investment covers at least 17,000 square kilometers, with plans to build new masts and improve mobile coverage in 43 municipalities.
