The Moving Picture Company (MPC), a privately owned post-production and visual effects (VFX) studio headquartered in the UK, is a subsidiary of the Technicolor Group. Employing approximately 6,530 people, MPC provides broadcast professional services and generated revenue of around $250 million in 2023.
The Moving Picture Company (MPC) will occupy 105,000 square feet of the Main Press Centre (MPC) at the Olympic Park in London, which has over 220,000 square feet dedicated to broadcast studios and production. The London hub will see MPC and The Mill share studio space as part of Technicolor Creative Studios' plan to launch global creative hubs in London, New York, Shanghai, and Los Angeles. Canon Professional Services (CPS) will provide on-site support at the MPC for photojournalism customers, establishing the largest camera photo service center of the event within the MPC. Operating under the motto of "Zero Downtime," the photo service center will offer speedy maintenance service, equipment repairs, and loaning of replacement equipment to ensure photographers can always be ready to capture decisive moments of the competition.
