Previously, on April 27, MPC Paris, a VFX and image post-production studio within the TransPerfect group and an official partner, confirmed its support for multiple projects at the 2026 Festival de Cannes, scheduled from May 12 to 23. This followed news from April 21 regarding the festival's Technician Jury award, organized by the Commission supérieure technique de l’image et du son (CST), which recognizes outstanding artistic and technical contributions to films in the Official Competition. Earlier, on April 17, MPC Paris and The Mill launched a new studio within La Maison Rouge, a historic Parisian landmark reimagined as a creative home for their teams. In March, specifically on March 25, Balthazar Sahel from MPC Paris detailed workflows developed at the studio for "Troll 2" in collaboration with One of Us, during the "Workflow In and Around Houdini: Beyond the Interface" conference.
