The company is a not-for-profit organization responsible for overseeing and promoting horse racing activities at three major New York racetracks: Belmont Park, Aqueduct Racetrack, and Saratoga Race Course.
Grade 1-placed maiden Civil Liberty is slated to compete in the Grade 2 $750,000 Wood Memorial presented by Resorts World Casino on April 4 at Aqueduct Racetrack. Previously, on March 10, Ilkay Kantarmaci experienced solo success in New York, taking the reins of a 27-horse stable at Belmont Park in 2024 after his younger brother Mertkan Kantarmaci paused his training career. On March 6, Victory Hall secured her first black type stakes victory in the $135,000 Maddie May at Aqueduct Racetrack in her debut for trainer Tom Morley, overcoming the favored pacesetter Galinda. Earlier, on February 28, trainer Amelia Green prepared to send out Minorinconvenience and You’re Lookin Good in the $135,000 Gander stakes at Aqueduct. Minorinconvenience was returning from a more than six-month layoff following a victory in the state-bred Funny Cide on August 27 at Saratoga Race Course.
