The competition featured a panel of alumni judges, including Gay Gaddis, founder of Austin advertising agency T3; Hall Martin, founder and CEO of TEN Capital Network; and Justin Fenchel, co-founder and CEO at BeatBox Beverages. Following the pitches, the group held a panel discussion where they shared experiences from founding successful brands and leveraged connections made during their time at UT. Earlier on April 2, researchers from UT Austin, in collaboration with the University of Massachusetts Amherst, developed a graphene-based electronic "leaf tattoo" capable of continuously monitoring plant hydration and simultaneously performing brain-like in-sensor computation directly on living leaves.
