Tokyo MX is an independent commercial television station that exclusively serves the Tokyo metropolis, operating as a member of the Japanese Association of Independent Television Stations (JAITS) and thus not affiliated with a major national network, which allows for a flexible programming strategy. Its services are centered on two broadcast channels, Tokyo MX1 and Tokyo MX2.
