Trans7, also known as PT Duta Visual Nusantara Tivi Tujuh and TV7, is a privately owned company headquartered in Indonesia. It is a subsidiary of TransTV. Founded in 2001, the company employs approximately 1,350 individuals and its primary operations include broadcast television and radio; it also operates as a tier 1 media tech buyer. Functioning as a national private television network, Trans7, which initially used the name TV7, made its first terrestrial broadcast in Jakarta on November 25, 2001. On August 4, 2006, Trans Corp collaborated with Kompas Gramedia to acquire TV7 shares, leading to its relaunch on December 15, 2006, under the new name Trans7.
